How many requests for information about our members we’ve received, and what we did. Because files and file names are encrypted on members’ devices, we can’t hand over their contents to anyone. What we could be asked for is the little we hold, listed in the Privacy Policy.

How we handle a request
Requests from law enforcement and other authorities go to legal@terebyte.com. We respond to valid legal process with the account information we have, described in our Privacy Policy. We can’t provide the contents or names of files, or anyone’s passphrase, recovery key or share-link secrets, because we don’t hold the keys. Copyright notices follow the process on Copyright & abuse.
