Valet
Your AI gets the valet key. Never the master.
A valet key lets an AI assistant run errands from your own accounts, within limits you set. Your own computer does the errand with your password; the assistant never sees it, and neither do we. Today a valet key sends email from your account.
Limits you set
Choose who it may write to (people, or a whole domain), how many people one email may go to, how many a day before it asks you, a ceiling it never passes, and how long the key lasts. Pause it or revoke it at any time.
Time to refuse
Each errand waits the minutes you chose before it runs, and shows on your Valet screen with a countdown and a Refuse button.
Your answer for the rest
Anything outside your limits waits for you. Your phone says only that a door needs your answer; open Terebyte to see the errand and choose Allow once, Raise the limit to this, or Deny.
The agent hears only done or not done
A sent email comes back as done, with its reference. Anything else comes back as not done, without a reason. Pause all agents stops every key at once.
Warned if it’s tried after you stop it
Give a warning address when you make a key, and if anyone uses that key after you pause or revoke it, we tell that address.
Three steps
- In your account, open Keys and give an agent a key: the agent’s name, the email account, and your limits.
- On a computer of yours, run
npx terebyte valet runand paste your computer’s key. It sends the email while it’s on. - Give the agent its key as TEREBYTE_VALET, next to the Terebyte kit. It gets a tool called errand.
Prices
A key lets one agent into one place — a room, a mailbox, a shop account — with the limits you set, and you can kill it any second.
- Your first agent is free, with 3 keys.
- Each added agent: $5 a month, with 10 keys.
- Each added key: $1 a month.
Each added agent includes 5,000 errands a month and 2 GB of doorman traffic; the free agent includes 500 errands and 250 MB. More, on added agents, is $1 per 1,000 errands or part and $1 per 5 GB or part, under a ceiling you set. Your own computer as the door has no allowance.
